More than 800 years ago,Chozhargal from tamilnadu went to Island near Vietnam due to a crisis.They abducted a god statue of Pandiyas.
After 8 decades,Prathab bothan an archaeologist went to that island in search of whereabouts of Chozhas.But he disappears soon.To find him,a team formed which was headed by reema sen with military personnel.They needed the help of andrea(archaeologist) who was the daughter of prathab bothan.
Karthik plays as a leader of gang of helping workers.They were hired to work for the Search team formed to search prathab bothan.

All together heads towards the island near vietnam.They were tested with lot of traps in that island like snakes,shocking fishes,aadhivasigal,pudhai kuligal and finally by a sound which makes people as mad.
Most of the team members died and finally andrea,reema sen,karthik managed to reach the place.They found the place where the chozhas lived.But they were surprised that still they were living.Parthiban plays as a king of the chozhas living there.

Then the story moves to give lot of twists to the audience.Finally the director selvaragavan seems to be inspired by the Srilankan tamil issue specially in the climax scenes.
A big Clap to Selva to make such a wonderful film.Also the way he portrait the happenings of the tamil refugee camps in srilanka.
G.V Prakash gave life to the picture with his wonderful music.All technician worked in this movie starting from light boy to graphics team all worked amazingly.
When comes to acting,Parthiban will surely get an award.Karthik,reema sen,andrea played their roles with full dedication.
